Artisu Terms of Service
Welcome to Artisu. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our online store, website, services, and purchase of our products offered through Shopify (the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. About Artisu
Artisu ("we", "us", "our") is a New Zealand–based business offering premium dessert products, including tiramisu and related items. We operate our online store via Shopify to provide convenient ordering, delivery, and pickup services.
2. Eligibility to Use Our Site
To use our services or make a purchase, you must:
Be at least 18 years old, or have the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian.
Provide accurate and complete information when placing an order.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our discretion.
3. Orders & Acceptance
When you place an order through our Site, it constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline your order for any reason, including product availability, suspected fraud, or errors in pricing or product information.
You will receive an email confirmation upon successful order placement. This email does not signify acceptance of your order; acceptance occurs only once your order has been processed and confirmed for fulfilment.
4. Product Availability & Descriptions
We strive to display accurate product descriptions, images, and availability. However, product availability may vary, and items may sell out. If an ordered item is unavailable, we will notify you as soon as possible and provide alternatives or a refund.
Due to artisanal production methods, products may vary slightly from images or descriptions.
5. Pricing & Payment
All prices on our Site are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
We reserve the right to update or change prices at any time without prior notice. The price displayed at checkout is the final price applicable for your order.
We accept payment methods supported by Shopify, which may include credit cards, debit cards, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and others.
Any credit card or bank surcharges are paid towards the 3rd party provider, and are not collected nor paid directly to Artisu.
6. Order Changes & Cancellations
Because our products are handcrafted and prepared per order, we do not accept changes or cancellations in orders once these are confirmed and placed on the site.
Artisu reserves the right to cancel any order due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.
7. Shipping & Pickup
7.1 Pick up and Delivery
We only allow pick ups within North Shore and South Auckland areas.
7.2 Pick up Times
Pick up times may vary depending on demand, weather, traffic, or other factors. Estimated pick up windows are provided to ensure that you can also plan in advance.
7.3 Pickup Orders
Pickup orders must be collected within the timeframe and location specified during checkout. Failure to pick up may result in product spoilage, and refunds will not be issued. Artisu is not responsible for orders damaged due to products being left unattended.
8. Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we generally do not accept returns.
If you experience an issue with your order such as:
damaged items,
incorrect items,
quality concerns,
please contact us within 12 hours of receiving your order with photographic evidence.
We may offer a replacement or refund at our discretion.
Refunds, if approved, will be processed to your original payment method within 3–7 business days.
9. Allergies & Dietary Information
Our products may contain or come into contact with allergens such as dairy, gluten, eggs, nuts, soy, and other potential allergens.
Artisu will not be liable for any allergic reactions. Customers are responsible for checking ingredient information prior to purchasing.
10. Customer Accounts
You may choose to create an account on our Site. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and password.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site—including logos, images, product names, descriptions, and designs—is the intellectual property of Artisu or its content suppliers.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit any content without prior written consent.
12. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Site for:
unlawful purposes,
fraudulent activities,
interfering with Site operations,
attempting to breach security features,
data mining or scraping.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our Site and products are provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free content, or that the Site will be free of viruses or harmful components.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, Artisu will not be liable for:
indirect, incidental, or consequential damages;
loss of revenue, data, or business;
damages resulting from misuse of products or incorrect information provided by customers.
Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount paid for the order in question.

You agree to indemnify and hold Artisu harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Site or violation of these Terms.

Our Site uses Shopify and may include links to third-party tools or websites. These are not operated by us, and we are not responsible for their content, privacy policies, or practices.
